1960´s Gretsch Bebop Drums
this is the latest project I worked on. this drumset is made of single shells I bought to put together a Bebop set.
The bassdrum was born as a 18x16 Floortom which I cut down to 18x14 and put all original hardware on, except the railmount.
12x8 tom came with the snare in satin gold finish but was torn down badly. The 14x14 had Ludwig ft-brackets so some extra holes were drilled by some previous owner. Still missing the original feet and one lug which broke.
I rewraped the drums in Delmar Blue Glas Glitter to keep an original 60´s finish. The Bassdrumhoops are from Keller an were cut for inlay-strip and painted black.

20" Ride with a 3 inch crack along the groove lines, drilled it to stop the crack and put some sizzles in.
Realy nice sound! soft and washy. I use it for jazz and acoustic music.
